Eh I've been single for 36 years and as far as I'm concerned my life hasn't stopped beginning. Being single means the dirty underwear on the floor are always your own, the toilet seat is always down where you left it, and you can drink directly from the jug at the fridge if you want to. You can go where YOU want to go, do what YOU want to do, and generally have the lifestyle that married folks can only look back on with fondness. Enjoy it while it lasts, you'll be hooked up before you know it, picking up someone else's dirty clothes, falling into the bowl on 3 am pee runs, and catching him drinking directly from your quart of milk.
Happy birthday!

Hmmm I've heard life begins when the kids leave home, I always felt that life begins when I left home. What are you waiting for, men? Shoot, they can't make you happy if you aren't happy to start with, marriage....again? For most of the things in life, a good handyman and money will get you what you need. Get a better job, get out and volunteer, do something new, travel on your own, get to know and love yourself, that way even if Mr. Marriage never shows up you won't have wasted the only life you are ever going to have.

Happy birthday in advance....well..who's to say when life really begins...maybe you just have to be a little patient before things start happening...but meanwhile don't sit around waiting for something to happen...get yourself out there and get yourself a nice guy..hopefully one that you will develop a strong relationship with...don't worry yourself too much...am sure the only reason you are feeling so burdened and in a hurry to believe that life starts at 40,is because you set yourself goals to be reached by the time you turn 40, but you don't think you'll have time to achieve them before that time....so take it easy...if life actually starts at 40 then do something to make that dream a reality for yourself...hope i helped you out.....

i am now 40 I have lived my life each and every day.
I divorced from my wife at age 32. I did not wait around for my life to start at any certain age.
Live each day as if it were your last. But dont think that you need someone else in your life to be happy. First you need to to happy with who you are and have joy in being yourself, then find someone who is looking for that person.

I know what you mean, It was my 34th birthday last december and I'm single too.
Well, since it's your birthday, and you'll be out, why don't you be brave and go and ask a guy out, for fun;
But it'll be a good start, you can't sit waiting, and on your birthday, you're the queen, anything is possible.!xx
Happy Birthday!

I'm 37 and life has begun for me 37 years ago. Hun, Life is what YOU make it. If you sit around thinking your life will begin in 5 years...YOU are missing out. Leave those damn stupid cliques alone and MAKE your life what you want it to be.

Why do you think you're single? Why aren't you enjoying being single? Blokes find happy girls attractive. Go out with your girlie friends and laugh and joke. you'll soon pull a bloke
