All inclusive resorts are nice. Specially when you go to the swim up bar. No money its required to consume in the resort. In most cases you have to serve your self and wait in buffet lines. Food is the cheapest and so are drinks. Bottled beer is probably your best bet here.

The biggest down part to this program its the fact that you will miss all the good choices of food in town. We have international class restaurants that are far much better than any all inclusive resort. Here you can sit down and have two or tree waiters tend to your needs at the table.

So If you don't mind the crowd go for the all inclusive. If you are more classy and picky go for the resort with out meal and drinks and find the exquisite choices of high quality service.

Yes, absolutely. Everything (and I mean everything!) is included. Went to Puerto Vallarta last Sept. and I think my out of pocket expenses were maybe $100 at most. This was for some extra tips (even tipping is included, I just tipped extra to those that gave me exceptional service, and there were many that did) and a nice meal we ate out on a visit we made to a cute little village one afternoon. One bit of advice though: go with at least a 4* or more resort if you can afford it. We did and I think it was probably well worth the extra $200 dollars it cost us for the week. There were many dining options (really good, not "gourmet" food) great entertainment, very professional staff, fabulous grounds and pools, beautiful beach, etc. etc. Lot's of great all-inclusive resorts to choose from in Puerto Vallarta so do some research and I know you'll have a great vacation!

I would personally only do all-inclusive if I didn't want to see Puerto Vallarta. I lived in Puerto Vallarta and travelled there for vacation. I never did all-inclusive and I met more of the people. Travelled off by myself to see the little towns around Puerto Vallarta. I have to say my favorite time in Puerto Vallarta have to be the times I went "off the beaten path". Good luck and have fun! I'm jealous!

I suggest you to take the all inclusive option. The town could be a little far from your hotel. The food is good and you will have all the drinks that you wanted. It´s a very nice and relaxing vacation. Have a good time!

It is the only way to go if you want to eat and drink ALOT!! We did it in Jamiaica and it was absolutley perfect. All you have to worry about is any extras you might want to do off the resort. The food at the resorts is generally very good and if you like to drink from the bar it is great because you can have all you want without having to worry about money. Have fun!!

If you are not a picky eater, because of course there will be the times when you won't particularily care for the food. Honestly, it's worth it though. I mean look at flight tickets alone. it costs an extra five hundred or so, you get all the activities, food and alcohol you want.
