1998 Mercury Sable with The Durotec 24 valve engine 128,000 miles. No oil consumption. I service it regularly 3000 - 4000 mile oil changes (Havoline 5w-30) and AC Delco oil filters. Change Dex Cool antifreeze every 3 yrs. I think the following may be interesting. I installed a K&N air filter when I bought this car used @ 32,000 miles. I do service the filter every two years.

I have a 2000 Toyota Corolla, It has 108790 Miles on it. I bought it like 1 year ago when the mileage was just 90000. I paid $3500, but the car is still running good and I can drive it anywhere. It still runs good and hope it will last me for another 5 years, I guess.
