I find it hard to take serious anything posted in here about relationships when they can't put accurate information on thier profile, post a real picture or just not having to fill out their profile. I know that it is not safe to post everything about yourself but when you facts don't add up or there is no background at all...what are you hiding....? Why should I or anyone else believe that you are being straight with us? Maybe I am being silly or not-what do you all think?

I am loving the answers thanks but I need to make this perfectly clear...I am not annoyed or really upset so much as just wondering. I take what I read here with a grain of salt because I knw that none of you know that other people involved or the complete situation/facts. I would have to take up many more pages that I even want to type and get everyone involved in things to write a pages as well for you to be totally accurate...just not going to happen. As to the grandma that said just look at the name...have you payed any attention to some of the made up names in here? Scary what people come up with and God knows why they do? Thanks for you answers they are all pretty interesting to me!

I have no idea why a pic is necessary, I'm an old lady and my name clues you in to that, if I have relevant life experience I mention it in the answer. It is easier to be blunt and honest if I know you won't be "coming home'' so to speak. Its not silly if you are trying to figure out an answer, your response is different if a young girl or an old man asks the same relationship question, but for answerers, its just an opinion, and no ones opinion is based on anything but their perceptions.

I have thought that if I represented myself as a cute, young girl, in a made up profile or picture it would indicate an interest in something other than just advice. Of course, the fact is, my lack of text messaging ability and my general vocabulary when answering would indicate, if nothing else would, that I'm of an older generation. Especially in this society, admitting to being of a certain age, is not productive, on any level.

If 5 people gave the exact same answer, with the exact same wording, and exact same punctuation, are the answers any different?

You should take the comments for the content and use your own cognitive resources to evaluate whether or not that advice is best for you.

Don't let emotions and rhetoric prevent you from not reading someones advice because they dont have a real picture as their avatar.

this is a forum for those to ask whatever (whether truth or false)and remain anonymous. you don't have to believe in what you read and you have the freedom to reply or not. if a question doesn't interest you, go on to the next question. if this whole thing annoys you then maybe it would be best to read this anymore. yes it can be annoying at times, and when i feel that way, i just do bother answering.

No your making sense. It would be nice if people would be more details about what the post and have a tiny bit of information about them on their profile. I got a tiny bit about me. So your not being silly.

I trust no one....my bad. It is too easy for people to create an on-line impression....Real people have successfully hooked up from on-line relationships.....

Good Luck & Blessings

Your question should be:
How can someone you trust do this to me?
You don't have to believe us, its an opinion, take it or leave it.
