both me and my friend want to get in shape but we have very different goals. I'm female, he's male. I want to lose 20 pounds, he wants to put on 20 pounds. We figured we would turn it into some kind of competition but we don't know how, because we have such different ambitions. can someone help?

men usually lose weight quicker, just be supportive, and work out together to keep each other motivated.

Well you both have to do the same things to loose weight.
1. Cardio/Aerobic-To burn fat and increase metabolism
2. Toning-To strenghthen your muscles and keep your skin tight and firm.
3. Weight Lifting Training. For you light and for him heavier.

So you see you each have different goals but the same plan to follow.

If you keep motivating eachother you'll get there eventualy. U shd do a lot of exercise to keep fit and lose weight and he sohould...well i dunno cuz ive never actually HAD that goal in life, but im guessing eat mcdonalds and KFC till kingdom come...(YUUUUUM)
