Okay. So I've been dating this guy for about a month or so. He's bought me gifts, taken me out to expensive restaurants, flaunted me to his friends and helped me financially. He's 17 years older than me. I'm 24. Well recently, his calls decreased, his attitude towards me changed, and he invites me to a party him and his friends were having. Well the entire night, he was flirting, groping, hugged up with another woman and women. It was like a war of who could make who the most jealous. Of course I wanted to jack-slap the taste out his mouth. But I decided to fight fire with fire. So I flirted and danced hard with men there, gave my number out to a few guys and TOTALLY ignored him for the entire evening. ANd I left unannounced. Well needless to say, we haven't spoken since. And I texted him, telling him How much of a jerk he was to even invite me in the first place. He hasn't responded. I'm just FRUSTRATED as to why would he disrespect me so greatly and MEN!!!! What do you be thinking?!!

Sounds to me like he was trying to get rid of you. He was already starting to back off with the decreased calls and attitude change. Then he invites you to a party and openly comes on to other women. Some guys are too sorry to just make a clean break so they try to piss you off into doing it for them. He'll just use your behavior at the party to justify his own and why he's not returning calls.

Forget about him. He's a jacka**, and from what you said he was just using you as a girl toy to flaunt on his arm anyway. Move on.

Perhaps this man was showing you what he thought of you. It sounds pretty odd that this man would just invite you to a party and flirt right in front of you. You must have behaved poorly the last time he took you somewhere. A man doesn't do that unless he really wants to get rid of you. If you want these men to take care of you and spend money on you, this is the treatment you get in return. Perhaps you should have a little more self respect for yourself. If you want all men on you, then don't take a date. Otherwise, be respectful to your date and treat him right. Thank you and good luck.

Forget about him and move on. You both acted immature at the party and you have to accept the fact that you and him aren't meant to be and he seems to not want to be with you anymore but rather then tell you he flirted and danced with differnt women. Just move on and know that not all men are like that.

Just be thankful it didn't take longer than a month to find all this out. A healthy relationship isn't who can make who more jealous. It started out bad, he's through. You should just go your own way. Leave him alone. You are too good for that.

you said it in your letter...his calls were less frequent and his attitude towards you changed. i don't know why he invited you to the party, but it was clear that he left you on your own. so that is that. i don't know what i think about that..he wasn't acting very nicely at all.....men can be frustrating and i am sure that they think women are, too. quit thinking about it and get on with your life.

he was testing you. you fought fire with fire and it seems that he was a little disappointed in the way you handled yourself. OH WELL! who cares what he thinks? you don't need a man who treats you that way. but you said you gave your number out....maybe one of those guys isn't a loser.
don't be frustrated....just move on. not all 40-somethings think they're 20.

If you try to stay with this guy it probably won't get better, you'll just stay and hope you get what you want then one day you'll decide you need to end it and you'll have put too much time and effort into a lost cause

He was showing you he was in control. This was not about you EVER! It was about him and his insecurities. He is getting older and he was trying to prove to himself he could still entice a younger woman. Then he showed it off when he proved it. then he blew you off in front of his friends to show how little you meant to him.

F*ck him and stop talking with him cause he is definitely showing your texts to his friends to show how hung up you were on him.
