Is there anyone out there who follows the old beliefs, ie Pagans, Celts, or Druids?
Also, if there are many of you, were you brought up in a Pagan/celt/druid household?
And how old (roughly) are you?

And for those fearful, nieve people im not talking about the devil or black magic.

I am myself a pagan, (wiccan), and was brought up in a Pagan household.
Im in my early 20s, and have only ever met 1 or 2 Pagans outside of my family. I had started to wonder if I will ever meet more like minded people...

We all originate from pagan and druid beliefs...a time where nature and its mysteries were sacred and where women were goddesses because of their ability of fertility...creation...that all changed when Christianity/Muslim etc came into the picure...

I find it nearly impossible to follow any "old beliefs" in this day and age. So much of it was never known, written or written in bias so that we can't be certain what is true and what is not. Most "New Age" Pagans piece together many different beliefs and rituals. Some truly believe that they follow the old ways but in truth they do not. Unless it has been passed down through a thousand or more years of generations and remained pure (which almost never happens) then most Pagan beliefs are a mish mash of multiple groups. In fact from tribe to tribe in ancient times no two worshiped the same gods the same ways so a united Pagan community is more than likely false.

I was brought up in a Christian home although not a terribly religious one as far as going to church regularly and such but still full of Christian beliefs.

I am 29 and have been Pagan (I believe) all my life. I never felt right about Christianity even as a child. I didn't have any label for it until I was a teenager and started reading books on the different types of Paganism.

Pagan, though I don't follow Modern Pagan belief systems. I was not brought up Pagan. My mother is Christian and my father is Agnostic. I was given the freedom to choose my own path. I'm 36, started into Paganism when I was approx 12 yrs old.

Reconstructionist Pagan.

Thank romans and christians for the dying of these traditions. I think wiccans still carry out ancient celtic rituals. Haloween is an old Celtic Pagan celebration. So many people celebrate a pagan ceremony without knowing it

I'm about equal parts hedge-witch and small-w wiccan.
I was NOT brought up in the old ways - I'm a PK (Preacher's kid).

And I'm 50. I've been a declared Pagan for over 25 years, and a Priestess for 20. I say "declared" Pagan, because I've always BEEN a Pagan and a Witch, I just didn't know there was a name for it.

I am pagan, have been for 7 years, i wasn't brought up as pagan. changed my beliefs after my mother passed over. Although my parents were not religious, i would have classed my mother as christian and my father as agnostic. My sister is very hypocritical about religion. and my brother will say he is not a hypocrite and doesn't believe (although he nearly became a priest when he was a young man). I have 4 chidren and i have left it up to them which path they want to follow. I am in my mid 40's

I am a Witch, I'm in my 20's. I was brought up as a strict christian but never felt it was right and I never believed everything I was told I 'should' believe. I live in Sussex and there's quite a few of us round here. I know there's a Druid group that meet on Ashdown Forest and many people in Tonbridge/ Tunbridge Wells area

I'm pagan and I know many others, including some members of my family. I was not brought up as a pagan, but my parents believed we should decide for ourselves. I'm 48 years old now, and have been pagan for about 25yrs.
