He isn't too old for Glycerin Suppositories they make an adult version. Get him some Milk Of Magnesia and the new Cherry Flavor is very good. Start sneaking some benefiber into his food (after you get this bout resolved). It can be mixed into anything and its not noticeable even plain water. Go easy, don't overdose him. If all else fails go see your doctor. Be proactive in the future, just like the old saying goes an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

If your son hasn't had a bowel movement in 4 days, the problem is becoming serious, beyond any stomach massage. At this point, he will not be able to relieve himself without an outside aid.
Call your family Physician, and do what he suggests. Failure to relieve your bowels can lead to serious problems, and 4 days is much too long --- no fooling. Poison will back up into the system if the constipation continues.
He needs an enema, or a fast-acting laxative. Ask your Physician. A simple call will get you the advice that you need.
After his bowels become regular again, include some high fiber in his diet. This will keep him normal. There are a variety of cereals that will do the trick, just be sure to go with a high-fiber product, and stay away from the sugary ones. All Bran is very high in fiber. He probably won't like the plain taste, but you can spice it up with some fresh fruit.
This is not your answer now --- your answer now is to open up his bowels right away. Forget about massage, prune juice, even the high fiber at this point. Juices and fiber help keep you regular. He needs immediate relief, and use these other products to keep him regular afterwards.
Don't let this much time pass in the future.

At this point a strong laxitive is probably the way to go - I would'nt start monkeying around with home cures without speaking to a physician. Applying pressure to an area that is already stopped up could cause a rupture in the lower digestive tract which could be extremely dangerous.

You have nothing but medical issues, don't you? You and your son and daughter. I don't know why you keep posting this stuff. Call a doctor and ask THEM your questions.

Yes, this can really help to get things gently moving.
Massage his tummy clockwise, slowly and gently with olive oil. Good luck!
