1. what does someone have to take in order to give it to you?

2. a woman has 7 children. half of them are boys. how can that be?

3. a man lives on the 26th floor of a high rise apartment building. every morning he gets on the elevator hits the #1 button, gets off the elevator on the first floor and goes to work. every evening he gets off work, goes to his apartment building, gets on the elevator hits the #12 button, gets off on the 12th floor and takes the stairs to the 26th floor. why does he do this?
(hint: it's not for exercise.)

Ans 1. Someone first has to take something of equal importance/value.

Ans2. One of her sons/daughters has turned adult i.e. he/she has become a MAN Or A WOMAN.

Ans3. The man is a dwarf, for that reason his reach is only till the button assigned for the 12th floor. All the buttons above that are not in his reach, so he takes the stairs when he returns from work & can easily press the button for the 1st floor since it is placed much conveniently (in his reach).

He's too short to reach the "26" button on the elevator. The "1" button is easy to reach being on the bottom, so he can go to the ground floor each day, but stretching as far as he can only lets him reach the button for the 12th floor once he gets home.
