It's not the end of the world. I lived at home during college and it was actually a smarter thing to do because then I didn't have to pay rent, so I wasn't in debt (besides, I don't think I'd get along well with a bunch of girls.... we'd all eventually be PMS-ing at the same time. lol).

Anyhoot, if you can, move back in with your parents and continue to attend class; however, also get a work study job (if you don't qualify for work study, campuses usually have regular jobs as well).

I did regular work (off campus) my first year of college and the 2 places I worked at that year always tried to give me more hours than I could handle, which affected my grades, but finally I smartened up and went for the work study jobs. The pay wasn't great, but it paid my cell phone bill and gave me some spending cash, but what I liked most about work study jobs is that you have a steady schedule and have time to study. My longest work study job was for a year and I mostly just worked the 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. shift which was super easy (I worked in a dorm as a desk clerk... basically got paid to sit on my rear and watch tv. lol)

Well are you waiting for a loan to come through? I was in the same position last semester I had to talk to the head provost and she allowed me to stay until I got my loan check. If you dont have any money for school at all then you have to go home. You SHOULD TELL YOUR PARENTS they might be able to help you out.

I would say due to your immaturity, you have no choices. You will have to burden someone.
