Being a virgin...id like to ask if those of you who arent virgins believe that sex is really worth it all. the risk of pregnancy and STDs...all the risks of being caught and getting in trouble and such...i mean if youre married, then heck, go for it. but is it really worth going and doing with someone i dont know ill even stay with for the rest of my life? (maybe that wasnt worded right...but yeah)

Is sex worth it all? YES for some, and NO for others. Its all about yourself. Sex is stingey. You dont want to go off and sleep with a bunch of people and risk your personal health. But... Its a way of getting to know someone when you are an adult. If you are younger, then wait... there is no rush to have sex, its not like, "first one to have sex is the winner." Its just sex. However, it should be a personal choice. Do you want to wait and give your virginity to someone you marry, because that would be an amazing gift to give. But even then, a ring is NO GUARANTEE that the relationship will last. My personal choice was that when I felt ready, I had sex. But I never let anyone else decide that for me. AS far as STD's and pregnancy go, always always ALWAYS be safe and use condoms, and another form of birth control such as being on the pill. Having 2 contraceptives will protect you the best from STD's and pregnancy. But also remember, there is NO SUCH THING as 100% protection except for abstinence.

Like I said... its a very personal choice that you should make, in your own time, on your own. Noone else should be involved in that choice, and if anyone pressures you, they are just trying to use you. If someone is worthy of your first time, they would be willing to wait for you to be ready. Good luck

Dude. You're a guy. Where's your testosterones?

Here's what you do. Since you don't seem like the type of guy to just bang every broad that you encounter you wait for that special one. Do it when you're both ready and always use protection. That's condom for you sexual illiterates out there. That'll reduce risks of pregnancy and stds by 90%

I bet your demeanor will change after the first time.

It is probably worth more than you think. Sex is statistically 1 of the top 3 reasons why a lot of relationships dont last.

From one virgin to another, sex is highly overrated and you are right, it's not worth it. Remain a virgin until you meet someone you truly love. That is the best advice.

Well no it's not worth the risk, plus it isn't fair to any other guy you date if you had sex with another guy. Plus it can ruin your future marriage, I've seen it happen in couples, and if STD and pregnancy isn't enough then what is?

Sex is so totally overrated. No it's not worth it ALL. Don't get me wrong, I like doing it but it's more important that it's not a "one way" thing. It (sex) can be misused.

ONLY....if your in love. Empty sex is the most disgusting thing I've ever heard of. The act of sex is suppose to be an outward expression of how much you love someone. So please, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

If it wasn't then there would be no market for it.
You can judge how much it is worth by how big the market is for it.
Draw your own conclusions.

its definitely overrated/all hype.
but if you're in a serious committed relationship, it will be an issue as most people expect it nowadays...
tough to say what's better.
