My new friend was behaving strange, like one day she said she was going to bed when i asked to see her, and she agreed to meet me. All of the sudden she put on this dress and had her hair done and said she had to leave.. I thought it was odd.

Now she said she has sex with men as an escort girl. I think its disgusting!!! First i said it was ok, but i dont know if i wanna have something to do with a prostitute.

What do you think..? She said most of her clients are married men and i feel that its a very cheap way of making lots of money..

If it bugs you, then end your friendship, but it seems pretty shallow to base friendship upon her carreer.

Only similar experience I have, is when my friend became a stripper, her personality totally changed for the worse, so ending the friendship had more to do with her crappy attitude rather than the fact that she was a stripper.

I say do what you want.

The people telling you to forget about it because it is in the past are way off base. Obviously their answer would most likely change if it has happened to them. If your wife has lied to you about this then you have every right to be concerned about what happened before you were married. Perhaps if you knew the truth then you wouldn't have married her. Escort services, on the surface are just that: They escort men when they have a need for a date. However, dig deeper and escort services are classier forms of prostitution. Plain and simple. They just do it in hotel rooms, their clients home or their own home. No one pays a women to come to their room and perform just a lap dance. No One. Find out where your wife was arrested and try and look up the actual citation. That would provide you with some answers. It is odd that someone get arrested at a hotel for trespassing. Even if she is not a registered guest they would ask her to leave, not arrest her. I feel for you. I really do. Sorry to be blunt but that is what I think you need. Good Luck.

"You don't want to be friends with a prostitute?" Just because her line of work is something you don't agree with doesn't mean you have to dump your new friend. If she is a good person and only wants the best for you why would you want to hurt her like that. She may be a professional "escort" but this is far better than standing on some street corner. I hope you know that if you let go of this new friend of yours you'll be saying "I'm far more better than the likes of you" and that is a terrible way to think. Yes, you may not agree with her way of life but I'm sure you can put your prejudice aside for your friend....right?

Uhm, one of my friends used to be an escort girl too - but that wasn't a reason for me to break the friendship? Why should I? It was her decision and has nothing to do with my personal opinions of what is right or not.

Wouldn't you miss her as a friend?? I mean, if not, you aren't real friends anyway! This escort thing isn't really a reason to forget her.

You know what? treat her for what she is to you, not what she does in her own personal life, as long as she treat you with respect and love and her friendship is there for you, I believe that's what makes a good friend, whatever she does on her own time is her business, don't go judging her on her life interest.

I got in a relationship with one and I didn't know anytthing about what she did, other than she was a student. As soon as I found out, I broke it off and never saw her again.

That's your opinion. If your new friend makes you feel uncomfortable, then end the friendship now.

Well, do you want someone like that in your life or not? If you don't, then stop. You are free to choose to include or exclude anyone you want from your life.

This is HER job, not yours so why care? So long as she isnt trying to recruit you to do it...I wouldnt dump her as a friend.
