I have a half brother. His name is John Kowalsky Jr. His father's name (my father) is, obviously John Kowalsky. He is around 21 or 22. He lives in Dearborn, Michigan. I believe. Does anyone know how I could find him? I really want to meet him, he doesn't even know that he has a sister because his mother and my dad haven't talked since even before I was born.

Have you tried call 411 and getting the phone number? Also, many people searches on the internet. Best of success.

According to an Intelius People Search online it states that there is a John Michael Lowalsky who has resided in the following cities and states (it also states that this particular John has a relative named Catherine);
NEWPORT, MI
AUBURN HILLS, MI
CLEVELAND, OH
DETROIT, MI
NORTH ROYALTON, OH
BEREA, OH

In addition, there appears to be another (or the same) John Michael living in Dearborn who has a relative named ELIZABETH CZILLA KOWALSKY.

There are also two more listings for for a John Michael, one living in Jacksonville, Florida (he's related to a Joseph A. Kowalsky)and the other in Southfield, MI. There is also just a John Kowalsky living in Southfield. MI (but that could be the same one minus the middle initial).

Lastly, there is a listing for a John Kowalsky living in Taylor, MI but it states that he is 44 years old. He is related to a GAIL MARIE KOWALSKY.

I'm sorry but they do not offer phone numbers with a basic search however you can go to http://find.intelius.com/search-summary-out.php?ReportType=1& to do your own search and pay $7.95 to get telephone numbers and addresses for these listings, if available. But I would suggest saving your money and try calling information to ask for telephone #'s.

Sorry I couldn't find out more for you.
Good luck to you!

Have you looked into newspapers in the area in which you think he lives? I know ads can be expensive in many newspapers, but consider the smaller community news. Like the many small outlets that are sent out through the mail, free publications. Often those lil papers offer free to low cost advertising. You could run a "Searching for Brother" Also make use of the web, creating your own page (use Yahoo geo cities or Bravehost..both offer free webpages and easy to use) ...Using your brothers name and the area in which he lives. Which will bring people from that area to look. You would be very surprised at how many people actually "google" themselves and through this outlet your brother may see his own name and contact you. Search for online groups that may include the Dearborn area, giving you opportunity to speak with people from that area.

Millions of resources, free resources out there. Get started and Best Of Luck. I promise it's not as hard , as it may seem, once you get started.

First try the white pages online where you know he lives..try "classmates.com", google his name and see what happens..I also have a half brother that I met only one time when I was 11 years old (30 years ago). I was able to speak to him by the phone in 1987 when our mom passed away and in 1989 was the last time I ever spoke to him. I've had one person about a year ago tell me that he passed away in Jan of 2006, but I refuse to belive this.. (my brother is 25 years older then me and will be 67 this year).
If you know the area or neighbor hood that he lives in, you can ask around there.. I do wish you alot of luck in finding your brother, family is very important.

You could try to look in the online yellow pages for their phone number or address. There are some websites called people finders that may also help.
