No it will not affect your mums tax credits but if you and your boyfriend are partners and you are not part of your mums claim [ie your mum does not get child benefit for you] then your boyfriends JSA could be affected by any income you get, or could increase if you dont get any income. This is dependant on whether it is contribution based JSA or income based. You should go to your local CAB for a 'better off' calculation. Without knowing all the family income and benefit entitlement it is not possible,or safe to give full advice to you.

If you are co-habiting, sharing household responsibilities and bills you therefore are classed as a couple and will have to claim as a couple. If you are living together and do not tell HMRC within 3 months you wont just be overpaid if found out but also may face a penalty.
You will best phoning the helpline where they can check the regulation and couple criteria.

no more than 3 nights a week. it is also a good idea to let the benefits agency and your landlord know in writing that this will be happening.That way if someone reports you for fraud you have something to fall back on in your favour. This happened to me a few years ago.

no more than 3 nights. are you claiming it because you are on a low income or are you on full benefits? if it is becuase you are on a low income it may be different
