Hi,
I do not have extra bright white shiny teeth. I am normal.
Coffee & a ciggy, and a couple of yellow ones.
I am fed up with folks on the box displaying a brilliant white set of noshers."Hey - look at me smile !"
I hope they fall out.
OK , perhaps I am a tad jealous, but by dentist informs me that it is about £10, 000 to have perfect teeth.
I don;t think that I shall bother.
How about you ?

Bob

Do you have a shiny heart? That is all that matters. Most of those people are pretty on the outside but not on the inside. Too much hype is given to bright white teeth. Keep the natural look.

The popularity of bleaching actually began with baby boomers.
As they make up the bulk majority, societal trends follow their needs - this includes the need to stay young. The increased ageing population has led to a variety of anti-ageing products which includes teeth whitening products.

As we age, our teeth darken... having a bright white smile makes someone look and feel younger.

Celebrities are seen as the majority who have their teeth bleached for two very good reasons:
- they can afford the $
- they work in a field where their appearance can unfortunately be important to keeping them employed. Being in the eye of the adoring public, can also lead to vanity...

I think more of us would take the leap towards improved, beautiful smiles, if we could afford the bill.

I've had it done but I went for perfect 'normal' style not 'celeb bright white' style. I had just the front top 6 done in pure ceramic veneer, 2 shades lighter than normal and they look great. I paid £300 GBP per tooth so £1800 in total. Worth every penny

Arm & Hammer whitening toothpaste does a fair job.

Personally, if I went to the dentist for this sort of work and splashed out a load of dough I would end up overprotecting the gnashers.

Is that worth it?

agree with you. The 'perfect' look is, I think, so boring. Perfect noses, botoxed forehead, white teeth. I was in Hollywood recently and everyone looked the same - all the waiters, hotel staf, everyone. So after a while I was looking for 'interesting' looking people who had a few laughter lines or an interesting nose, and I found them more beautiful because they were unique!

If I had the money I would. Your smile is one of the first things people notice about you. Also the more confident you feel about yourself, I feel you convey this confidence to others which will improve all other relationships.
