Has he lost his mojo, or is he going to get it back? Can't see him doing anything against the Spider in a rematch.

Franklin will continue to have a successful career but will never get the belt back while Silva has it.

Rich Franklin was a champion and champions don't give up after losing their belts. He will climb the ladder again and eventually get a rematch. Good fighters learn from their losses, and Franklin has learned not to stand and trade with Anderson Silva (as has everyone else in the UFC). He'll come in with a new game plan next time they meet and the fight will last a little longer and maybe have a different outcome. I've seen Silva lose to submission fighters over in Pride, so Travis Lutter will show the other 185 pounders a chink in Silva's armor. Not that Lutter will win, but that's the only way I've seen Silva lose.

No he is not done. Hes a good fighter, he'll keep fighting and continue to have success.

My guess is that he will have maybe 2 more fights before he gets another shot at Silva. I think Silva will win a rematch, but anything can happen in a MMA fight.

Silva is a stud, theres no doubt about that. But right now the biggest two threats to his belt are Rich Franklin and maybe Mike Swick. I think Silva will probably hold the belt for a long time.

I think he has a good shot at redemption and the rematch is going to be an exciting fight, how is it that a fighter loses one fight to another great fighter and people write him off as a has been, Rich didnt look himself that night and some of the best fighters have become even better fighters after a devasting lose such as that. He simply went into the fight with a bad game plan and Anderson seized the opportunity.

and David Loiseau was signed by the new Elite Xtreme Combat promotion will be fighting Joey Villasenor Feb 10 on Showtime he is head lining the event along with Frank Shamrock vs Renzo Gracie.

He might have to wait for someone to upset the spider, then get the belt back from someone else! he is one tough dude and a great fighter (he fought the crow w/ a broken hand) so i assume he will still have a great career.

Another question could be is David Loiseau done? He too was on fire until being beat by Franklin, but he went the whole 5 rounds.....i hope he comes back and maybe gives the spider a run for his money.

Rich Franklin is not done. He will be fighting at UFC 68 against Jason Macdonald. He will be back - although, i dont see him beating Anderson Silva unless he really changes his gameplan.

No, I don't think he is done. He is still a good fighter. Sometimes I think it is necessary for a fighter to get knocked off his perch to make him reach down inside himself and find a better fighter. Doesn't mean that he will get better, but it is a definite possibility. I don't think it will happen right away though. I think he'll need to do a few fights and build his confidence level back up first.
