Abortion is a women’s issue. Men have no right to even be involved.

First, people who think men have no right to be involved in the abortion issue should be careful what they ask for. Polls consistently find that women oppose abortion at a higher rate than men, they are more opposed to government funding of abortion, more active in the pro-life movement, and are more likely to favor banning abortion outright. It is abundantly clear that if men were excluded, support for abortion would plummet.

Second, men don’t need to be given the right to speak out against abortion, they already have a responsibility to do so. Real men don’t just stand around with their hands in their pockets while helpless children are slaughtered for money. Third, the pro-choice crowd never tells men who support legal abortion to keep quiet, and they have never said that the 1973 Supreme Court had no right to be involved in the Roe v. Wade decision, despite the fact every member was male.

They also don’t seem to mind that the overwhelming majority of abortionists are men, and they never say anything about the male “escorts” outside the abortion mills or even the men who force women into having abortions. Evidently, the only men these people want to be censored are those who think women deserve better than abortion.

Finally, if the argument is that men shouldn’t be allowed to participate simply because they can’t get pregnant, what about women who can’t get pregnant? Should only young, sexually active, fertile women who are not practicing birth control be allowed to have an opinion about abortion?

The idea of abortion is not a personal choice for the man, or the woman. Our government is sticking its nose in a lot of areas that it has no business, but if you realize that the proper function of government is the protection of life and property, you will realize that government has an obligation to protect life.

Abortion is taking innocent life by denying person hood, exactly like the Nazis did to the Jews. If they are not people, they have no rights.

I am against abortion, but I think the father should have a say if the women want to abort and the father doesn't It is his baby too. And if he wants to keep it than he should have the right if the mother does not want it. Unless the pregnancy was the result of a rape than he should be in jail and not allowed any rights to a baby. He should also be responsible for all medical care needed.

i don't understand who you're referring to when you say "they"
i don't recall anyone every saying that men should not be involved at all, but i do think it's more of the individual woman's decision to actually have an abortion, since it is her body she's giving up for 9 mos.--her life that is put at risk and changed forever.
and it isn't necessarily true that the only women that get pregnant are NOT practicing birth control-- no birth control besides abstinance is 100% effective so there ARE accidents. plus you're not considering non-consentual sex.
perhaps you should portray a more complete picture of the issue instead of spinning it to suit your agenda

Also: giving men too many rights over a woman's body can only lead to abusive control. if men had rights over an unborn child, except if it were rape, what happens when a woman can't prove it's rape & her rapist has say over her body & her life? what's to keep men from repeatedly impregnating women to use them as breeding cattle that they have control over while they're pregnant?

You're question was too long so I didn't read all of it but...I do agree that abortion is very wrong. However I think that the man has some right to decide...what if the woman wanted to get one and the man didn't want her to? In such a case it would be a very good thing that the man had a say.

i disagree. abortion it takes two to make a baby and it takes two to decide to have the baby or not. yes its her body but its his child too. men have every right to say no to abortion. the life inside isn't just the woman's its the man too. i am glad that many states wont allow abortions unless both parents are signing for it.

abortion is murder. you are killing innocent life that baby didn't ask to be conceived and it certainly doesn't deserve to die because you don't want it give it up for adoption there are loads of people looking to adopt.

abortion is not a form of birth control if you dont want to get pregnant get on the pill and use condoms condoms should always be worn to protect against the spread of stds

First of all, you may want to know that everyone who has an abortion does so because they are not practicing birth control. secondly, abortion is a personal issue that should be decided on by those that are involved, not by you and me.

I believe that is an issue, that should be decided on by the individual.I don't want somebody else deciding what happens to me or anything that closely related to me.I live in a free country.Or I hope I still do...I'm starting to wonder at times.

Ridiculus. What if the baby is female? Do they then get to decide under these so-called "women's rights"?
