When I removed painters tape from the crown molding, a small line of the original paint color was covered and is now showing between the new paint and the crown molding. It is very small line that a small artists brush or foam brush would cover. Will these work. I used Benjamin Moore/Putnam Ivory/ Flat paint.

2" brush, make sure it is angled to avoid extra issues.

If you are a fast painter, I would even consider a large artist brush of 3/4' or 1" to be able to catch tiny details.

It will all depend on how quickly you normally paint and how particular you are of your work.

What you first need to do is to run a section of blue painter's tape along the crown molding and then use a angle brush to blend the lines in.

If I understand you correctly. I would now place blue tape of the wall under the crown molding and use a small brush that you are confortable with.

I find that a 2" wide Sash Brush works well. You can buy one at your paint supply store. They are much better than the foam brushes for "cutting" which is what you are trying to do.

I personall prefer a small wedge foam brush. For me, an artists' brush would work ,but take longer.
