Water molecules from inside the food freeze and migrate towards the coldest place int eh freezer. This causes the food to become dehydrated.

Discolorization of the meat. Frost on the meat. Each meat has a freezer life. A specific time to be kept. Also, it must be air tight wrapped.

freezer burn on meat makes the meat look browner than the non freezer burned meat. it is not good to cook it. Its better to
either cut it off and use the good portion or just purchase a new one :)

Freezer burn is when the meat has frost on it and when it thaws you will notice the smell

areas on your meat will become dry and whitish in color, if your meat has been in the freezer too long it will get it when you put your meat in the freezer keep it as airtight as possible it will help prevent it.

if there are ice crystals on the meat itself, inside the package, that's freezer burn.
