You shouldn't wait until valentine's day to show her/him that you love them, you should do so everyday. forget the flowers and the candy, a kiss and a hug and actually listening to them when they go on for hours talking about something that is so absurd to you, that is what love is, not crappy cards produced to make money, come on. Love before capitalism.

Well I am a guy so i fig, i would post up saying what i would buy my gf for valentines day.. Its not always buying something for them to make them feel good, knowing that you love them, and mean it really sets it off because its "true" and meaningful. I'm getting my girlfriend some flowers and this purse she has wanted for a long time, and then we are going to go out to dinner and watch a movie with some candles lit. Hope she likes it all, i will have the purse as a surprise somehow. But yea you just have to find out what she likes. Flowers ( Roses ) are usually a hit, and take her out to dinner...

Women want your listening ear. True, you have to work to pay attention to all that noise. I do, and I am a woman. Yes, it will be a struggle to find a topic of interest that you both enjoy, and especially to hear her complaints about you. Still, if you can give her the flowers, the candy, a nice set of earrings, and listen to her, you have really won the day!

Im not really into the whole flowers and candy and balloons thing, I think its kind of a load of crap. All I want for Valentines Day is for my boyfriend to tell me that he loves me and appreciates me, just like he does every other day of the year.

Jewelery--I'd love a pretty bracelet or something.

I actually want an engagement ring, but I know he won't give me one for Valentine's--too predictable.
