You must be 21 or over unless you are the birth parent of the child and you and your partner (who is not the birth parent) want to adopt, then you need only be 18 or over, but your partner must be 21 or over.

You must have a very good reason (and probably a specific person in mind) to want to do something so selfless and mature at such a young age. But I don't think the agency will think you're ready emotionally or financially unless there are extreme extenuating circumstances. Good luck.

no, i do believe you have to be at least 21 to adopt someone and there are very strict guidelines about income and things like that that they go by also.

It depends on where you live. I live in ohio and you have to be 18. Check with your local (county?) children services office. They may have a website that will give you that information. Good luck.

I know you have to be 21 and I am thinking you have to be married for at least a year....there are strict guidelines. Do a yahoo search to find out.
