He knew it wasn't the DNA of those kids in the ho before he even charged them with rape.

I think I would rather see the public humiliation of having him disbarred, and then a lawsuit for damages against Nifong personally, the County Government and Duke University for suspending the students.

One should remember there are always THREE sides to every story. What said....what said...and what really happened! Newspapers that detail a description of any story are trying to make money for the paper by sensationalizing the facts and circumstances. Because DNA wasn't found in an examination of the victims body cavity doesn't mean the suspects didn't commit the crime. "Protection" could have been used to prevent a body fluid transfer. The facts presented in a court of law are what counts! The district attorney has only the facts that were obtained from what said and what said and then any "real" evidence such as DNA or body fluids, fingerprints, etc.

No, but he should be disbarred. Hopefully that will happen.

Mikey-Are you kidding?...Just doing his job?...WTF?

He(Nifong) knew and when he "discussed" the DNA tests he decided along with the DNA analyst that the report would ONLY include results pertaining to the "accused"....absent from the original report was the 5 other "deposits" they found in her panties.

This case has been handled so poorly I suspect that within the next month ...charges will be dropped against these young men.

He like so many others 'gave in' because the race card was being used and I believe he made the best dicisison to prove once again this 'it's because I'm black' is old worn out, over used, abused and on it's way out. The more it's used and shot down with the imbarressment it was this time the less it's going to be pulled and indorsed.

I would try a more productive means of retaliation. Civil Lawsuit!!! Teach the State/County a lesson in overzealous prosecution, and pad your own slush fund at the same time.

HE's just doing his job. I'd like to bash the skull of the crime scene investigators (the CSI guys) who knew it yet recommended action be taken against those athletes anyway.

Tempting, since he has legal immunity for literally anything he chooses to do. But I'd probably stay within the law, and sue the accuser for everything she'll ever make, and everything her parents own. HUGE tort there. Huge.

No. I'd use whatever political contacts and power I had to have Nifong politically tarred & feathered & rode out on a rail, and file serious criminal charges against him.

Nifong should be tried and imprisoned for his criminal misconduct and abuse of power.

I would want to know how my boy got enough money to hire strippers and then would make him pay for the rest of his tuition.

As for your question? I guess from your assupmtive tone you don't believe its possible to gang rape a stripper huh?
