the cream base... i work at starbucks (it will be 1 1/2 years for me) when the creme base is is nonfat milk and powder basically full of fats and sugars!

lol i make creme frappachinos with nonfat milk and add in a few packets of splenda, equal or sweet n low for the sweetness.. its very close to the real thing without all the fat in it!!

and of course ice to the consitency you want. the only downside is, is they the milk and the ice seperate quickly so i always add in more ice and blend a few times through so its has a smoothie like texture. this prevents it from seperating.

Here's a recipe for one of the most popular frappuccino's.

Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino

I N G R E D I E N T S
6 cups double-strength freshly brewed dark roast coffee
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, plus additional cocoa powder for garnish
2 cups nonfat milk

I N S T R U C T I O N S
Fill ice-cube trays with half of the brewed coffee and place in the freezer. In a bowl, combine the remaining brewed coffee, cocoa powder and milk and stir to dissolve the cocoa. Cover and chill.

When the ice cubes have frozen, transfer them to a kitchen towel and, using a hammer or mallet, crush the cubes. Fill 4 glasses with the crushed ice and divide the coffee-cocoa mixture evenly among them. Dust the top with cocoa powder and serve.

Serves 4.

dont understand the recipe yet all you elect is a few strawberries, cream. prepare dinner the stawberries in a pan with a cup of water and a million/2 cup sugar. while it boils positioned them right into a blender or nutrition processor and puree. on an identical time as this cools, beat some heavy cream till ultimately it reaches medium peaks. upload the cream to the strawberries and combine in a blender. upload to a chilly cup and place greater cream on precise in case you like. upload a straw and luxuriate in

Cold espresso + whatever flavouring syrup (caramel, chocolate etc) + ice + milk and cream blend (I think it's about 75% milk, 25% cream)
