It's fine to be friends, but here's a suggestion... Define "friend" to each other because some exes who are friends have relationships still. For example my friend and her ex still sleep together although they both are in other relationships. So know what you want and state it...

I'm very good friends with my ex boyfriend. I think as long as you don't cross any lines that maybe a new boyfriend don't think you should i don't see anything wrong with it. Everyone needs a friend.

yes it is ok to still be friemds with your ex....just because things could not work out in a dateing relationship does not mean that is has to end the friendship relations as well.....many people think that but it doesn't need to be like that.....i'm still friends with all me ex's

If you can without the emotional baggage of breaking up then yes. Often it takes time to get over the hurt of one breaking it off with the other.

If you loved him once you will love him again. I say ok if you are both not seeing someone else. Once both of you start seeing other people it will get hard and complicates and you will get hurt, again.
Answer: Only if you can handle the pain of seeing him with someone else.

im friends with almost all my exs, their nice to have around, cos they give good hugs always. and why not really, if they jerked you around their probably not nice to know.
