Last night at 12:30 a.m. my son received a relay call. The operator explained what it was and he accepted it not really knowing what to do. This man asked my son,by his own name, where his money was.He kept asking where his money was! My son asked who he was and the caller gave him a name he had never heard of. I have tried calling the number back that was on the caller ID but it is always busy. How do I get the person who called identity ? Who should I report this to ?

I've had these before
I had to change my number and block ALL collect calls
this is how pll did 'phishing' before the internet, they used the phone and asked for a 'Mike' or another common name
My problem was ppl in jail/prison were calling
these men had nothing else to do but harass me over the phone
the number is ALWAYS busy? That's probably a jail/prison phone
see if you can search for the phone number
try these key words, one at a time: 'jail' 'prison' 'corrections' and the area code and only the first 3 numbers in the phone number, like this ' corrections 313 224' or what have you
also ask the opereator if this is a payphone
good luck
