im 20. & i get a lot of 17 year old girls like..literally, falling in love with me all the time, haha...why is this?

I myself like older guys and have since I was twelve. I always dated guys 3 to 6 yrs older than me. It is the experience that older guys have (not just sexually). Older guys have jobs, cars, and take care of their appearance usually by working out, looking good, and smelling good. Older guys have sense of adventure and some girls love the bad boy types. Older guys make us feel protected and it's so highschool but it makes girls feel superior to show off our older guys to make friends jealous. It makes us feel special to be wanted by an older guy instead of being treated like we are too young to be taken seriously older guys make us feel like women. Most of all it drives our fathers crazy!!!

It's a possibility because you are older (like others have stated) to them you seem mature and "have it together". Typically boys that are 17 are not on the same level as a 17 year old female. It could be a sense of security for the female... An older guy that knows what he doing, it could also just be a sexual thing, where you are more experience than what they are use to. Hope it helps.

Most likely they are tired of the immatrue high school boys and older guys like yourself seem more appealing. You may have your own car, a job, maybe going to college which looks really appealing, probably your own apartment. The age different between 17 and 20 is only 3 years but it is huge as far as where you are at in your life. They want to "act" older than they are and it seems more cool to be with someone older who can treat them more than a kid in high school.

Have you looked at boys that age? A girl is attracted to strong male images and to most that means an adult male. hard for boys their age to provide that - it is innocent and fine as long as it stays that way. Many a older teen or college age girl has had a nine year old boy cousin etc with a crush on them - it si sweet adn normal if treated kindly and not allowed to develop further

my guy is 20 im 18, i like that he's a little older than me cos we are on the same mental level, you probably kinow that men are mentally younger than women, so when your 17 you dont want to go out with 17yr old boys who have the minds of 15yr olds.
but then again most teenage girls go for the older guy so he can buy her clothes and presents take her drinking before shes allowed to, all that kinda junk.

Thats gd dont you like it? Most girls like me prefer older men. But not too old. Older me know how to treat a girl. AM sure what you have is exactly what a girl wants and needs.

Speaking as someone who LOVES older men, women are emotionally more mature than men are at the same age, therefore to find someone at the same maturity level women will generally have to date slightly older men.
AND its just damn sexy to date older men. I'm 24 and generally i date men from 27-34. I don't go over 35 (too old) but its hot, I love it.

because girls have to go for older guys if they want someone with the same maturity level bcuz we mature faster! I have always dated older guys! Actually rite now i'm 26 dating a 47yr old! It works out better trust me!!

well, 3 years isn't that much of a difference. you may look young and hot. plus, younger girls tend to gravitate towards older guys just because they feel like, in turn, they are more mature that way (though this is very false). and, who knows, maybe you lead them on.

Some girls are just so starved for affection that any attention they get from a guy can be mistaken for love so be careful how you direct your attentions. how ever, don't loose your charm because
