How do I clean the terminals in my quartz clock from a leaking battery?

You don't say what kind of battery, but you can probably get them clean using either a baking soda/water paste or vinegar (but not together at the same time!!). I'd probably try one, rinse it with water, then the other, and rinse again (be careful when you're doing this so you don't get it into anything but the battery compartment). Those are usually excellent cleaners for just about anything.
