Why is Islam the fastest growing faith in the world? Out growing Christainity..?

If Islam is classed as a violent religion, then why is it the fastest growing faith? If they say Islam was spread by the sword,then what sword or war is happening now to spread Islam? If Islam oppress the female,then why are more women coming to Islam then anyother faith? Are we beleaving everything the media is saying about the faith of Islam?

People, please, dont give me what u think u know, give me stats & proof for what u know..... Also there are only 2 faiths in the world that out number anyother faith (Christianity: 2.1 billion) & (Islam: 1.3 billion) then its (Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist: 1.1 billion) stats collected from Adherents.com ... but in europe & america, why is are more & more people converting or reverting to Islam then anyother faith ? do we see muslim armys invading the UK or the US? no so what brings people to the conclusion of Islam...... Also why do are people quick to put down & to slander without having any knowing about the subject at hand? & my stats are right, if u think i am wrong show he the proof that i am wrong.... People seem to forget the crusades & the people they killed & need i go on ? put that aside, people please think with the mind & not with anger or what u think u know, if u hav something to give show it.... Womens rights in Islam
According to "The Almanac Book of Facts", the population increased 137% within the past decade, Christianity increased 46%, while Islam increased 235%.

In a recent poll in the (US), 100,000 people per year in America alone, are converting to Islam. For every 1 male convert to Islam, 4 females convert to Islam, Why?

Koran does Not have Biblical double standards

5. In The Bible, Widows and Sisters do Not
Inherit Any Property or Wealth, Only men
do{Numbers 27:1-11}The Koran Abolished this

In The Koran, God limits the number to 4 only
under certain situations (with the Wife's
permission)and Prefers you Marry Only One
Wife{ Qur'an 4:3} The Koran gives the Woman
the Right to Choose who to Marry.


7. "If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not
pledged to be married and rapes her and they are
discovered, he shall pay the girl's father fifty
shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he
has violated her. He can never divorce her as long
as he lives" {Deuteronomy 22:28-30}


One must ask a simple question here, who is
really punished, the man who raped the woman or
the woman who was raped? According to the
Bible, you have to spend the Rest of Your Life
with the man who Raped You.


The Prophet Muhammad Says {Volume 9, Book
86, Number 101} Narrated by Aisha:" It is
essential to have the consent of a virgin (for the
marriage)".


Would the Christian men Reading this prefer the
Women they know to Be Christian or Muslim?


8. The Bible also asks Women to wear veils as in
Islam {I Corinthians 11:3-10}, this lowers the

9. Women were given rights to Vote less than a
100 years ago in the (US), while the Quran (42:38) gave
Women Voting rights almost 1,500 years ago.

10. Islam has unconfined Women and has given them
the human right to reach for the sky. There have been
Muslim Women Presidents through out the centuries,
but to this date, the oppressive mentality of the
men in the Western U.S.A. has stopped any Women from becoming
Presidents in predominately Christian countries,
while the Muslim countries have voted for and
elected Female Presidents.

I agree with you that Islam is a growing religion and rightfully so. It has many wonderful precepts and a peaceful ideology. However, in the spirit of saying that, I'd like to suggest that you not see the increasing popularity of Islam as a commentary for a speed race between relegions. The Qur'an in its passages acknowledges that the God of the Christians and the Muslims and the Hebrews is the same and that each religious path is accepted in the eyes of Allah. To say that "...Christians just need to realize they are losing now..." is a competitive statement that can only incite receprocating hostility and I don't believe such a comment is in the benevolent spirit of Islam. We have a very basic need to be in 'submission' (Islam means Submission) to Someone or Something greater than ourselves. islam is portrayed by the media in a negative way, when in fact there is a whole different side to it. Lets consider suicide bombers and terrorism for instance. These acts are completely wrong in Islam, and there is absolutely no exception for these. People who do this or are part of it are making a bad image of the majority of peace loving muslims.

Probably the reason why there are more people converting to Islam is because they realise the truth about Islam i.e. muslims believe in prophet Jesus and they also believe in the virgin mary and other prophets mentioned in the bible.

Women are oppressed everywhere, whether they are muslims or christians. Islam does not allow this but many people confuse this with cultural beliefs, this is when this problem rises.
