It depends on the size/weight of the chicken and if it is stuffed or not. Check the chicken's wrapper for weight and appropriate cooking directions (most have them listed on the back).

I think this depends on where you roast your chicken. I use a turbo broiler for roasting chicken. 2 hours is a long time to cook it. I can fit 2 whole chickens in it weighing 2.2 lbs each. The chicken should be at room temperature when you are going to cook it. Place the meatier side or the breast part first for 20 mins. Then turn it and cook it for another 15 mins. Both at 250C degrees. Then turn it again and turn the heat up to 350C for another 10 mins to make the skin brown and crispy. If you overcook the chicken it will become too dry.
If you are using an oven cook the chicken for about 35 mins at 250C then turn the heat up at 350C for 5-10 mins ( see if the chikens skin is already brown, if it is no need to finish the 10 mins)
Hope it helps

Depending on the size. About 1 - 1 1/2 hours. A chicken must be well cooked and fall off the bone.

It depends on the size of the chicken. However, I'd rather eat something prepared by Shilpa than that lame ***** Jade.

350 degrees for 1/1/2 hour for a typical chicken. The person in the middle is correct.

20 minutes per pound
unless the chicken is a celebrity and this is for the Comedy Central channel, in that case it's a 2 hour event with commercials.

I would say 20 minutes per lb. I put the oven on 350 degrees. Also check to see if it's nice and brown the way you want it. Then it is done.

It depends on the size of the bird... a good rule of thumb is 20 minutes per pound.
