Because it contains so much of your history! Is any Jew on here brave enough to read it for themselves instead of having someone else tell them what is or isn't true?

For the same reason that Christians should read the Koran, or the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

If you think Jews ought to read the New Testament, then you ought to be willing to read books of other religions. There is vital history there too, and by neglecting it, you're doing the same thing that you're accusing the Jews of doing by neglecting Christian scripture.

Are you 'brave enough' to have read the Qur'an, the Book of Mormon or any other of dozens of holy books written after the New Testament?

Hmmmm. properly, from a number of the different comments, I collect which you're something of a bullshitter, if not an outright troll. even with the undeniable fact that, for the earnings of people who may be analyzing, Jews are genuinely *not* forbidden to study the hot testomony. it is utter nonsense. in certainty, whilst i exchange right into a baby, we study factors of the hot testomony in (Jewish) religious college, as component of our "awareness different religions" unit.

Because in it they would find the true biblical definition of what it means to be a Jew in God's eyes (Romans 2) and b/c it contains the revelation of their Jewish Messiah.
