why not suggest you go have dinner or see a movie or something? Just ask him if he is busy on a certain night and see what he says. It's common to ask guys out. Who knows, maybe he is waiting for you to ;) Have fun

since you seem to like this guy, why not start talking to him more about relationships and dating, ease into this, now ask him about what he thinks about dating, and that you would like to go out with him.

Say something out of your heart, you dont need to listen someone to help you. Once you face to him and think something out of your mind, and spill it out from your mouth. He will say yes. :) Its easy because you were been thinking about it for a while, dont you? then do it! in a real life!
