What a good question.
I've never thought about it before, but now you have mentioned it....I am ashamed to say....yes it does.

I won't go into further detail...I'll just go away and give myself a severe kicking.

Thanks for this.

Guys will only give girls that they want to sleep with compliments. So the way you accept the compliment doesn't really matter.

It shouldn't, but for me it does. If a handsome man in his 20's,(like my husband), says "you look really pretty in that dress", I think- what a nice compliment/man with great taste and say "thank you". If an older, unattractive man wearing grease in his hair and ratty clothes in his 60's says "you look really pretty in that dress", I think- what a pervert/ dirty, old man and say "thank you" while walking away fast. I think we judge people partly as a defense mechanism as well as on our own prejudices. We need to protect ourselves from people we think may hurt us. As unP.C. as it is, I do believe it is necessary. I am sorry, Do you mean the way they look OR the expression on their face while they compliment you? If you mean the latter then yes- body language makes up most of the way we communicate, words are only words.

Yes. If they are laughing uncontollably while giving me the compliment, I tend to think that the compliment is not exactly genuine.

In a way. If they gave me compliment while flipping me off then yeah.

It would depend on the look I guess, so yes, I imagine it does.
