I think this guy I work with really likes me and may try to take our friendship to a new level. He is not what I would of went out searching for and doesn't initially flip my switch but I think he's different than others I have dated and truly cares about me. Is this enough? My friend experienced something similar but ended up dumping the guy because those sparks weren't flying.

well i think in order for something to really last, the chemistry HAS to be there. He can be the nicest guy in the world but you could eventually end up resenting him in the long run just for the simple fact that you are with him and the sparks are not there. make sure you really feel it if you are looking for something more long term.

sometimes there are more important things than sparks honey...do you'll still have sparks for some guy when you are both 80???exactly. a guy that cares about you adn is a secure person for you, then take it and be thankful!!! some don't find out till after they've given there life away to the "spark flying guy" that they wish they had what you do. think about it

I will say go for it because during of friendship, you wont see deep of him. Once you go out with him, he will open himself to you and you will learn something really different from him. You might fall in love, who knows. Go out with him won't hurt you. If you don't feel anything after go out with him or get know him, then all you have tell him the truth and wish him luck to find a person that will fall in him.

sometimes its the one that you don't like that will end up being with you forever and a lot of people really don't know or not sure what it is they really like so maybe give it a try, you got everything to gain nothing to lose as they say!

you have to have things in common and it helps if sparks fly just a little. just to settle will not last especially if u meet somone who really flips your switch

He just might be a decent guy. It is up to you if you want to give him a chance. If he is not what you want then don't date him, just continue to be his friend. You shouldn't lead him on.
