I wonder why when the rest of the planet accepts it, there is irrefutable scientific evidence.
There is actual measurable physical evidence.
Why we as a nation stubbornly refuse to accept what is happening.
What does our Government done to us, that we seem to believe anything they tell us about the world outside of America.
Please tell me why you don’t believe that global warming is happening and why.
(NO I HAVE NOT SEEN AL GORES FILM, so no reviews please).
But I have been around the world and seen what is happening and it scares the sh-it out of me.

I think there are three reasons.

1) Because our corporations and government spend a lot of time and money denying it, or suggesting 'more studies'.

2) Because as advanced as our nation is, our scientific knowledge (as a country) does not measure up. Look at the 'debate' on evolution for an example.

3) If we do aknowledge it, we have to admit that the US plays a large role in it, as we have 4% of the worlds population but use 25% of the energy produced.

It is easier for us to ignore the issue and claim that it is undecided than admit that there is an issue and do something about it.

Having lived in the States for quite a few years I can maybe understand why the people who live there cannot see what is happening regarding climate change as clearly as people living in Europe or some other parts of the world. Think the States have always had a rather dramatic and difficult climate with dramatic events like tornadoes, hurricanes and large changes in temperatures between summer and winter, at least where I was living. However I would have thought that the warmer than average winter temperatures would have become apparent to them by now. Living in the UK we have a more settled pattern of weather and seasons where the increasing temperature rise can be more easily seen. Apparently twenty one of the last twenty four months here have been warmer than average

Check your history books! The climate changes all the time! You didn't see people freaking out and thinking the world was going to freeze over in the 60's when it snowed in Florida and it stuck! Thing's change it happens I'm not going to freak out about it. If God decides it's the end of earth all that global warming crap isn't going to matter anyways now is it.

Global climate change is happening and has been forever. Believing it is being caused by human actions is another subject. There is no scientific proof of that. There is a lot of scientific proof that the climate has been far hotter many times in the past without human intervention.

My question is why so many people believe anything they are told by the environmental terrorists despite lack of any proof.

I'm an American and I believe that the earth is getting warmer. The government hasn't done this to us we have done it to ourselves with making coal, paper mills, car exhausts, etc. The government doesn't do half the things people claim they do. It's sooo obvious what is happening, I can't believe people can't see it.

I dont accept that there is irrefutable evidence of global warming. There are plenty of qualified scientists who do refute it. So there!

Are you sure they're not accepting it, or is it possible that caring about it would cause too much disruption and inconvenience in their fossil fuel dependent lives.
