Start making the bottle last two nights and then eventually 3 nights and this would be a better amount. One glass can give you as much nutrition and vitamins as one piece of fruit and veg so in some ways a little is ok.

A 750ml (regular) bottle of wine holds about 6 glasses. This is a bit in excess of what "9 out of 10 doctors would recommend", but only if you sit down and belt 'em in an hour.

If you are bedding the kiddies at 8, and yourself at 11, a 200 lb. person could completely metabolize that amount of wine. If you weigh less than that, you're probably overdoing a touch. This is from an intoxication point of view.

Current medical wisdom says 2 glasses for women, 3 for men. Per day.

Red wine, (particularly younger reds) are a good choice for heart, circulation and digestive health.

Best wishes!

It is VERY easy to drink a whole bottle of a good red, but they say just 1 glass/night for a woman is good for the heart.

A good red should really not be kept open for more than one day. Could you possibly share the bottle with someone?

Red, red wine, makes me feel so fine. I think the Monkeys wrote that originally but Neil Diamond made it famous.

I always say "Drink until your liver won't take anymore and then drink some more."

I made that up but I don't practice what I preach.

Jesse Jackson ain't got nothin' on this honky.

Bad idea. You may get drunk and drop the bottle creating tons of glass chards.

I recommend buying the wine in a box and drinking that instead. Safety first.................
