I know it's hard honey. But don't bash yourself up.
You are human you make mistakes. You learn through your mistakes . Do you know the most successful people are those who made a lot of mistakes but kept trying. A drunk is someone who made mistakes, gave up, and let themself drown
in them.
I know it's hard in a party situation and your friends are drinking. However you can do something about it to slow things down and you don't drink as much.
A. alternate alchohol and soft drink ,that looks like
alchohol. if you are drinking out of a bottle or a glass. If out of a can just fill it up with soft drink when it's finished, you can just drink that for quite awhile.
B. Drink slowly. Put your drink down after 1 or 2 sips ,but make sure it has a tamper proof top on if a glass, so no one can slip anything into it.
C. Have a shandy that's an inch of beer and rest lemonade. It looks and smells like beer and tastes like it too but better. Try it.
As far as your promise to your friend. That may have been too much of one to keep when you did it straight after being drunk. Let the person know that you are human, made a mistake and realize it, but you're striving to try other ways to deal with it. Tell them that at a party you may drink say a can of beer , but you have new ways to dilute it and show them this. If they are scared you'll become an alchoholic because you've done thins many times, not just the once as you said, then I think you need to see a councellor and understand why, is it ,you want to fit in etc.?Binge
drinking is detremental to your health and if too much alchohol is digested in a short period you can die of alcohol poisoning..
No more parties, friends or life then. No one likes someone who smells of vomit and wets themselves. They are an embarrassment to be around. So remember this that you can have this look any time you get drunk.
good luck

The problem is that 1. You weren't honest and 2. if you could not resist drinking then you may be on the verge of adolescent alcholism. You are absolutely too young to be wasted. Get help now before it's too late...

Just because you broke your promise doesnt make you a bad person. Just be honest about it, and try hard not to drink anymore until your 18. Good luck!!!!

HAHA. Great friend, making you promise that you won't drink until 18, which STILL isn't the legal age to drink. Good job.
