It relies upon on what type of images you're into. Do you do professional print artwork or are you a leisurely photographer. in case you're the latter, your 5MP is only nice. I actually have a 5MG cybershot to boot and it nonetheless takes tremendous pictures. I likely do not even take great aspect concerning the total pixal capabilitity. i do not understand a lot about SLR..yet i keep in mind that you've a adequate digicam for nopn professional photo taking.
