I think that is a really nice dress in both colors but black is more formal and yes it will work wonderful you will notice that some people are going to show up in something ridiculous and you will sort of feel over dressed but you should wear nice formal wear like your dress you are wanting and you will look great. The whole point of formal night is to look nice and other people seem to not get that idea, and some dressing like something you would wear to lunch in a town or something. I personally like seeing everyone dressed up and make sure that you have one of the photographers professionally take your picture as you will look wonderful in that dress. Good pick.

Been on 10 cruises and have seen people in Tux's to regular suits and Ladies in all color dresses. Which ever you choose will be fine. Plus, if you also choose you do not even have to go to the formal dinners. They have a buffet usually open 24 hours, room service plus, some resturants that do not require formal dress. Enjoy.

PERFECT !!

Just make sure that you get some formal portraits taken so you can remember how good the two of you looked!

Congratulations on your wedding, and have a wonderful honeymoon.

Bon voyage!

Since it's for a formal dinner, it should be fine :)
