I just wanted to know if this sounds familiar to anyone. This month when i was supposed to get my period all i had was what seemed to be this brown looking thing. Just like when your period is ending and it lasted about the same time my period does. Other than that evrything has been the same except for having really bad heart burn everyday.

Not to me but i know that it could be caused by the oral contraceptive pill or if you have been taking antibiotics. I can also be just a change in your body and your next period may be normal.

Also if i were you try a pregnancy test just to check incase it was an egg being implanted into your uteris and just moving all the muecus around it.

Maybe even a pap smear or just seek medical advice.

Goodluck sweetie xoxo

Its not unusual that this would happen. Especially if your periods are not always regular. Sometimes the period is really light and sometimes this happens. As long as you return to normal next month it isn't anything to worry about.

It sounds like you have enough symptoms to go see a Dr. Or if you don't want to take a home pregnancy test. Check and see if your breasts are sore if they are you have some symptoms of being pregnant. If you have been under stress that can also affect your menstrual.

could happen to anyone, it might be if you have a change in your diet or if you just started taking birth control or stress
your body doesnt always accept change as easily as you do mentally so it may just be affected by something

Yep! You do not mention your age or what the "thing was" but variation in color is ok.

some women on contraceptive pills experience that but if you are not on pills, maybe, you are having some hormonal inbalance.
see your ob/gyne please.
