is there any complications that go along with this ? and should i use the dye you get a drug stores or go to a professional ? and also, what kind of auburn would go good with fair skin ? (dark auburn, light auburn, etc.)

I dyed my hair an auburn color once, and it looked pretty good. i have a slight tan, and my hair is naturally a dark brown, so my eyebrows didn't match. i would recommend going to a salon for any shade of red, because drug store brands fade too fast in those shades. but red hair is so pretty, and it looks the best on fair skin, so go for it!

I just recently dyed my hair aubrun and I have fair skin and it actually look nice. don't get hair dye at a groccery store cause it's not good quality but if you dont want it to be really permanent then do that. but I use a product called Wella and I've dyed my hair a lot and it seems to be the best one to use. I think they have semi-permanent also. but going to a professional will cost you a lot of money too but it is also a safer route. I prefer to do it myself but that's just me. But if you go to a hair place, not a hair cutting place, that sells hair dye talk to them about their different products and what you should use to get the color that you want. but I went with a darker auburn cause I have fair skin and I like dark hair and it looks very nice. I will probably stick with this color for a while. Hope that helps!

first off i would like to say good luck
i dyed my hair auburn and it looked great! i had dark hair and light skin so the dye came out somewhat dark.
now i say good luck because if i were you id make sure this was the change i wanted. it took me a very long time and probably a dozen dye jobs to get my hair anywhere close to the color it was naturally

A lot depends on your natural color. If you have blonde hair be very, very careful as you could end up w/orange. (Yellow + Red=ORANGE!!). If you have pale skin, go with a darker shade of auburn as it will make your eyes appear larger. Please go to a professional the first time you decide to do this. It will save you a headache and you can get some helpful advice for the future. Good luck!!

well that all depends.. if your hair is light DONT dye auburn ...it will be bright red.. go to a prof. and have them darken/then go auburn or have them darken ..then u can go auburn.. and as far as light skin a medium auburn would comliment better than anything. Good luck hun!!!
