For the last two weeks I have been waking up with a tingling in my hands and sometimes up my arm. It started mild enough, I thought I'd just slept funny, but it has continued to the point I am starting to think what it could be? Sometimes it goes away but some days it lasts hours, depending on what I am doing. Then 2 days ago I expierenced some dizziness that reminded me of my claustrophobic blackouts that I haven't had for years. I wasn't in a situation that I felt claustrophobic at all but I felt like I was going to pass out. Then it happened again this morning at home. I had to sit down and wait it out so I wouldn't pass out. Anyone know what all this could be?

I'm stumped as to what it could be, but I think you should definately go see your doctor. both symptoms you've mentioned can be caused by a number of many different things. don't wait too long, because it could be something serious. sorry I couldn't be much help, but I hope you feel better soon, and find out what it is. good luck!

The tingling sound just like carpal tunnel. That's what I have. I have it, but not bad enough to have surgery on it yet. And, as far as the dizziness, may you are just over worrying, and freaking yourself out with panic attacks. I have those too. Or, you could be getting high blood pressure. So, to be on the safe side, with the high blood pressure part, I'd see a doctor. Just in case. You never know and that is not something you want to play around with.

It could be cardiac or neurological either way get evaluated, this is not normal. As far as "classic" signs of panic attack, no. You would only have that tingling if you were hyperventilating and your body would not allow you to do that for hours. See a physician.
