I have been friends with her since I can remember (4 I think) I am 21 now and would like to know should I tell her how i feel about her I've cared for her as if she were my sister but with my last girlfriend leaving me I find myself obsessing over her safety and hate the guy she is with. The two are engaged but have been for about 2 years.

-It sounds like you are missing the "friend" parts of your relationship. You were used to having her to talk to, but now that you have a new loss- you wish to have the comfort she provided in the past.
If SHE is happy with her fiance then do not interrupt that.

If SHE knows you are single again, leave it up to HER to to MAKE the MOVES on YOU~

Touchy at best. What do you have to lose? Well, if you find yourself feeling resentment I would highly recommend telling her, versus hiding your emotions from her. That can build resentment and anger ruining things between you eventually anyway.

But be careful about your expectations.

Your approach and inner emotions will determine the outcome. If you are truely best friends she may already have a pretty good idea about how you feel. Or instead, feel confused about your protectiveness toward her.

You have to work through your deepest inner emotions first and ask yourself some critical questions. Then determine what your reaction will be, regardless of how it plays out, if you want to prevent creating tension between you.

It is really a pandora's box when you fall in love with your best friend when they are already in a commited relationship.

Good Luck!

You can and should as a friend tell her what's on your mind. I mean if the guy really does things that would hurt her then I'd say yeah speak up. If it's just you don't like the guy but he's given you no reasons then no I wouldn't say anything. good luck ;o)

awww it's like a movie i saw once!!!! if he's not a good guy maybe it's not what she deserves....maybe she likes you too but never could tell you. But i would feel bad if it broke up a happy engagement, so be carefull. just try to tell her how much she means to you but don't make her uncomfortable. you don't wanna live forever wishing you would've said something. better to get it out now. good luck

go for it. there's nothing to be afraid of. but beware, you might be expecting a "yes, i love you too" but what if it goes the other way around? so be sure of yourself first.

well, on the bright side, maybe she's just waiting for you to say it.. =D
