Also, whatever happened to all the destructive hurricanes we were supposed to have gotten last year? Liberals will always come up with some psychobabble excuse to try and explain it all away. It's all crap!

While global warming is all about the overall increase in temperatures, such a change means freak weather for local regions. Probably whatever you happen to be experiencing right now.
I know where I live we have had 2 months of wind storm after storm that have done a lot of damage. I don't go promoting global warming hype, but right now I am the closest I ever was to believing it.
These are all global warming signs:
California freezing temps
ice storms
warm Canadian winter temps
polar bears are dying by drowning hungry as they try to swim out to melting ice flows that are their normal hunting grounds

I come from Cyprus. Rainfall in the last couple of years is getting less and less. It barely rained this Winter. And I'm also living in Glasgow at the moment. In comparison with last year, the weather is wonderful. Much less rainfall, temperatures not that bad. Of course there are the cold and very rainy weeks. This Summer there were also 2 weeks of pure sunshine and heat. (Which hasn't happened in decades)
Another thing. It's not just Al Gore. Don't mix the environment with politics. If the guy is using his name to promote an environmental campaign I don't see what's the problem with that.
And If it was just politics, why would he care promoting the film everywhere in the world? Not everybody votes or cares about who is elected in the US.

It's "Global Climate Change"! Those freak storms that have killed several people in the midwest aren't normal...how about in December when Texas went from weather in the 70's and 80's one day then dropped to the 20's and 30's overnight.
Two weekends ago I heard Spring Peepers (little frogs-note their name) chirping, not to mention the Cherry Blossoms in DC just bloomed. Both those events normally take place in April.

The ice storms are causing so much havic. I was wondering this same thing. we all need to do some homework on conditions. Also, many years ago i thought in the USA we did not lose so many lives in our natural desasterds. That would make a good school research paper.I mean like in the 30-90s

Global warming doesn't happen over night. It takes many years and the change is only but a few degrees. This changes the overall average temperature of the earth. It doesn't mean winter disappears all together.... not yet anyway. Maybe you should read up on Global Warming before coming to a conclusion.

u really think it's a crock of sh!t,
just a conspiracy 2 kill-joy on capitalism & people in consumer heaven?
u put ur blinkers back on, if it makes u happy.
the rest of us will make a start on trying 2 do something about it without u then?

I'm sorry, but this is one of the most ridiculous claims I hear global warming deniers make. The temperature at one place at one time is weather. It has nothing to do with climate, much less climate change, much less again Global Climate Change.

I don't know about that. Here in Connecticut, it was 72 degrees about a week or so ago. In January! That's pretty scary, if you ask me.
