If you peel them and section them like oranges, you can freeze them in serving sized baggies and use them whenever you want.

Wash them, cut in half, use a teaspoon to scoop out sections into a large mixing bowl. This will make it about half juice and half sections of fruit. Throw this in the fridge and eat within a few days, or for longer storage, you can whisk/mash it or throw it in a blender to make a nice juice which can be frozen for later use. I'm not aware of any recipes that use significant amounts of grapefruit.

You can freeze the peeled sections and use them later for citrusy slushys or smoothys out of the blender this summer. Do the same and add vodka for a sophisticated Grayhound drink...invite some friends over do frozen grayhounds...they'll think you are a foodnetwork star!

You can take the halfs, sprinkle with brown sugar and broil them, that's yummy too. but not as much fun...I bet your sick of grapefruit now!

fruit sallads, use in green sallad or squeeze the juice, and freeze them into ice cubes and use them with lemonade or water.

it is great to do... i normally add some lemon or grapefruit zest to the ice cubes.
