In most religions we are led to believe that theirs is the one to follow and everyone else will go to hell.We are told by our'spiritual leaders' what is right and what is wrong. When it is okay to kill and when it is not.I have read many religious scriptures and studied numerous works on the different concepts of God.What i have realised is that God cannot be found preaching in any Church, bowing in any Temple or teaching in any Mosque.God must be searched for inside of yourself.Look for God within so that He may reflect in all that you do,think and say.Be truthfull,be compassionate,be kind and gentle to even those who are awful to others.Let your Children learn Life from u,not mtv and child minders.Control your anger, hatred and emotions, control your own minds.Don't be swept along by the media and told what you should be wearing, watching or listening to.Be yourselves,be free from the material desires which imprison us.Don't undervalue your worth,u can accomplish anything with Will Power!

When you come to know the One True God - Jehovah God, and His Son - Jesus Christ - He will give you a new heart - one that can see things with "spiritual" eyes - you are looking at things in the natural - therefore you cannot discern spiritual things. Knowing God and having a real, thriving, wonderful relationship with Him - no religion - is the way to having true Christianity and believing and having faith that God is Truth as well as His Son, Jesus. They are the Truth, the Way, the Life. What evidence do I have? I have the Holy Spirit within me - who came to dwell within me when I believed on the Lord Jesus and became saved - and He bears witness that the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ and God the Father are real - as real as you and me. Blessings dear one and I pray you find the Truth - Jesus Christ - before it is too late.

Unity, in response to your words:
"God must be searched for inside of yourself.Look for God within so that He may reflect in all that you do,think and say.Be truthfull,be compassionate,be kind and gentle to even those who are awful to others.Let your Children learn Life from u,not mtv and child minders.Control your anger, hatred and emotions, control your own minds.Don't be swept along by the media and told what you should be wearing, watching or listening to.Be yourselves,be free from the material desires which imprison us.Don't undervalue your worth."

I feel that if you truly hold to these views, then you are not far from God.

I am a Christian and believe in my Saviour's ability and power to save me - and all who believe in Him.

However, the God I know is - above all - a loving God and I firmly believe that if anyone conforms to the pattern of life that you describe above, all will be well with them when they stand before the Creator to account for their life.

And a note to any Christian who may think I err in this, a quote from the Rock on whom our Lord built his church in this modern era:

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." - 1 Peter 4:8

Why believe in Christianity over all other religions?
Critics often ask why Christianity is any better than any other religion in the world. After all, of all the religions that exist how can it be that only Christianity is true? If God exists, why can't God use different religions? Don't all paths lead to God? Skeptics ask these kinds of questions all the time and, unfortunately, few Christians have the the answers. Therefore, in an attempt to demonstrate why Christianity is true and all other religious systems are false, I've prepared the follow list of reasons for Christianity's superiority.

why don't you spend the time making one if that's what you need to know! anything that's not scripture is not from God, and again God is not religion, religion is something we make up our self God is faith something you can pray for to have more off as described in the bible. Then, ask the Holly Spirit to guide you to were you will fit in best in other words which part of the body of Christ can you work best in. People is not your guideline and shoul also not be cause we are human and know only what we see and hear. God is spirit and knows all!

Pity that people tend to become so rigid in their thoughts. It's probably the type of thinking that has led to wars and a lot of injustices in the name of religion in the past.

I do believe, though, that Christianity has something very unique to offer: whereas every other religion say (as you do) that we have to do our best to live a perfect life in order to reach God, as Christians we believe that even though we are very far from perfect we already have peace with God, and gradually learn to live that life by his guidance.

Trying and failing all your life can be very discouraging and only drive you away from God, so be careful not to trust you own ability too much. On the other hand, what a wonderful relief if that burden is taken off your shoulders and you can rest in God's love and forgiveness, also knowing that he will help you to become what he wanted you to be...

I'm Catholic & we believe that our religion is the one, true religion. However, we do not believe that no one else will go to heaven. We believe that if a person believes in God & Jesus Christ & follows the teachings of Christianity all will go to heaven.

There are so many different Christian religions because not all christians believe the same things -- except for the most important ones which we all agree upon.

You believe you are right do you not?

It would be pretty stupid to follow a faith that you didn't believe was true,or even if you thought it didn't matter how you worshipped.
For example,if you believe the bible when it says there is one god,and a Hindu believes in many gods, they can't both be right. It may not matter to us as humans, but can we be sure that it doesn't matter to god? Perhaps we should be more concerned with worshipping god in the way that he directs than trying to apply our own philosophies and twee ideas and telling god he has to accept them.

paganism doesn't... think about it. if we can understand that there are many gods and roughly each country/region has its own set of gods and there are slightly different, for want of a better word, rules to each 'set' then it makes sense that this is why there are many religions.

the world would be a much happier place if everyone just realised that their religion is not the only one.

every religion attempts to control the minds of the believers. the leaders demand you follow everything they say without question. they want to convert everyone to their way of thinking as it is the only way they can gain more control. anyone else is wrong and must be persecuted. this is why religion spreads death and destruction wherever it is followed.

there is another way. one which will lead you to peace and happiness inside without question. throw all religious thoughts in the bin, and live by your own decisions with your own thoughts.

Thank you very much for your brillant question i think you deserve an applause.Let me start by saying that christianity is not a religion that look down on all other religion.
Those who were first called christian in the early church knew nothing like chritianity but were called chritians due to how they behave i.e like christ (Jesus). What we must know is that there,s no any other person that can save us from all our sins other than Jesus Christ (Acts. 4:12,John. 3:16-18,14).
In Jesus lies all our hope, help and every other things we desire in this life and not religion.
