You said you were born in Boston, MA? That fact makes you a citizen of the United States. Why do you think otherwise?

No confusion. You are a US citizen Get hold of your Birth Certificate and you will know you are a US citizen. Of course there is a possibility of your parents making a specific request not to mention you as a US citizen in the birth certificate with a legal affidavit then it is a different story. Otherwise for all official record you are a US citizen.

Anyone born in the US is a US citizen. You can hold dual citizenship if one or both of your parents are not US citizens and apply for it. My neighbor has twins that hold dual citizenship...she is a US citizen and he is English...they live here 6 months and there 6 months a year. I wonder how that will work when they get old enough to go to school...

I was always told that if you are born on American soil you are, therefore, an American citizen.
I know this is why pregnant women from Mexico get over the border - if their child is born on our soil she (and the father) have rights to stay here.

If you were born in the US -- you are a US citizen -- whatever reason you think you're not should be brought up with your mom and dad --
