even if your parents where here illegally, you being born in the US makes you a citizen.

You said you were born in Boston, MA? That fact makes you a citizen of the United States. Why do you think otherwise?

No confusion. You are a US citizen Get hold of your Birth Certificate and you will know you are a US citizen. Of course there is a possibility of your parents making a specific request not to mention you as a US citizen in the birth certificate with a legal affidavit then it is a different story. Otherwise for all official record you are a US citizen.

Anyone born in the US is a US citizen. You can hold dual citizenship if one or both of your parents are not US citizens and apply for it. My neighbor has twins that hold dual citizenship...she is a US citizen and he is English...they live here 6 months and there 6 months a year. I wonder how that will work when they get old enough to go to school...

I was always told that if you are born on American soil you are, therefore, an American citizen.
I know this is why pregnant women from Mexico get over the border - if their child is born on our soil she (and the father) have rights to stay here.

Were you born in a foreign embassy on US soil?
Well, most likely, you are an American Citizen. get out the birth certificate.

With papers are not if you were born in the United States from United States Citizens then you are a citizen. More than I can say for a lot of these other people I see in this country. A bunch of anchor babies and border jumpers.
