Islam, then we wouldn't have the terrorists attacks on 9/11, Madrid, London, Beslan, India, Thailand etc

We also wouldn't have rioting around the world, every time someone says something about Islam some inman doesn't agree with.

Personally I wouldnt want any to be eliminated but all to be practiced behind closed doors. It is something so personal and its getting waved in the faces of those that care not for it. Not only that its become such a hot topic that its started to inflitrate society for the worst i.e. banning of public xmas decorations at xmas time, debates on what you can and cant wear, racism and discrimination from all camps.....its getting out of hand.
I say, if you want to practice religion, do it in the confides of your own home and keep it there, I care not what you believe in so stop telling me and stop trying to make 'your' religion change society.

All religion should be wiped out because it is nonsense and also cruel. At the moment it is obvious Islam is the most cruel. In the Middle Ages it was the Christians. Maybe the Hindus will have a go some time in the 22nd Century.

I prefer to live in a world where people are free to worship as they wish and in return leave others alone to follow their own path. I wish that everyone would wake up and see that all the religions point to the same thing. All extremism comes from human interpretation (well lets be specific, from male interpretation) and it is usually very easy to spot the hidden agenda. If anything is to be wiped from the face of the planet let it be: ignorance, fear, manipulation, domination.

I would outlaw religious fundamentalism and fanatacism of all kinds.

However, I respect all the major world religions and believe they are divine in origin.

Baha'u'llah wrote: "There can be no doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God. The difference between the ordinances under which they abide should be attributed to the varying requirements and exigencies of the age in which they were revealed."

BTW, I should have expected that some misinformed people would say Islam. I cannot believe that despite all the evidence to the contrary, there are still people who think that Islam is negative or violent, when one of the whole purposes of Islam in the first place was to establish justice and oppose violence and hatred. It was to unify people, establish brotherhood and peace between peoples and establish a civilization of love and mutual respect. Please read the Qur'an and history books on the subject before attacking Islam.

It's much easier to get away with divorce than abortion if both are outlawed. Besides, much more people divorce than have abortions, so outlawing abortion won't criminalize as many people. Not that I agree with typical Christian politics.

I wouldn't want to eliminate any (sorry for not quite answering your question). I think religion has the potential to do good for the world and all that. I'd rather remove those that take it too far or who are just not tolerant to others who are different from them.

I'm an atheist and I wouldn't get rid of any religion. I know there's crazy fundies in every religion but there's also people who's lives are enriched by religion and people who need their religion to feel whole- I think any diversity is good- yeah it causes controversy but it's a tool to teach future generations how to appreciate those differences.

I certainly do not want to ban any religion; that is not my place.

In his own due time in the very near future Jehovah will remove all religions that fail to live up to his holy standards.

Why would one want to do such a horrendously stupid thing when all religions the world over are basically the same!
