Ok, am older probably could be your grandmother but I stay young in my mind....I keep reg appts for trim, color, highlights etc Please give me steps with what is being said about this leave in conditioner before using my flat iron? I already use a product before blow drying is that what you all talk about? I got it so my longer hair would be long and smooth but it ends up dry looking..do you think perhaps I am over drying? thanks

Before you dry your hair, great for hair dryer, curling iron, etc. Get a heat activated product. This protects your hair form further damage.
Put the flat iron on a low setting and there you go. When yopu blow dry your hair also low setting same as any heating agent. Good Luck

Hi! Before I had my hair rebonded I used a hair iron to straighten my hair too. Since it is actually an iron, i don't think it is advisable to put any hair product on your hair before you iron it. Also, make sure your hair is not wet when you start ironing it. You can fan dry it instead of using a blow dryer or if your blow dryer have a cool mode, then you can use that instead. This way, you don't introduce too much heat int your hair. It is fine to put hair product on your hair after you iron it though. Hope this helps in any way.=)

It could be that your hair has been proccessed too much.. so wash blowdrying, and straightning your hair will be a task. Try leave in conditioners.. dont by the cheap stuff. i use pantene. also try not to over heat your hair is sucks out all the moisture which causes all the drying ut.
