To me, to be a Christian means to be “Christ-like”. Jesus commanded us (Christians) to love God and Love others… not just those whom it is easy to love, but to love everyone. So, to follow on that theme…
(1) Be tolerant of all different religions, sexual orientations, political parties, ethnic groups, etc. Have an open mind and learn. Leave the judgment to God if there is judgment to be made.
(2) Bring people to an understanding of Jesus through attraction rather than promotion. I don't want to be preached to... so many times after seeing the kind of "my way or burn" preaching I question why I want to be associated with such a group myself. Rather, I would love someone to come up to me and say: you have such peace and joy in your life... how did you get that?
(3) Question. If we believe everything we are told or read we are ripe for false prophits. I love the poster which says: "Jesus died to take away our sins, not our minds". Jesus questioned and opposed authority and did what he knew in his heart to be right. And he did it without guns and knives.

Christians aren't justified by "good works" so there is no answer to this question. Christians are saved through grace by Faith in Jesus Christ alone. If you truly are a Christian, doing "good works" just comes with the territory. Not all people who profess to be Christians are good people.

1. The Christian governments of the United States of America and the United Kingdom should stop persuing their entirely capitalist and greed driven agenda in the Middle East, particularly in Iraq which is a country that encompasses numerous sensitive Muslim religious sites. This act of goodwill would save hundreds of thousands of lives and show a willingness to live in harmony with other faiths which thusforth, in terms of history, is something that the Christian faith has never done.
2. The Christian (Catholic) Vatican council should stop preaching celibacy as a solution to the HIV and AIDS epidemic in Africa and instead promote sex education and the use of contraceptives, using some of its vast wealth, perhaps even selling off some of its multi-billion dollar art collection, in order to make said contraceptives available. This good work would save millions of lives and provide the entire continent with an invaluable opportunity to catch up with the rest of the human race in terms of development and the establishment of law and effective government.
3. Christian people should stop supporting the genocide that is taking place in Palestine and work to propose and maintain a working solution based on the guidelines suggested in the Oslo Pact. This would save millions of lives.
Whilst not necessarily the kind of answer you were looking for in posing your question, given that the most powerful president on earth believes he is on a mission from God and the leaders of the countries he is in the process of raiding for their treasure are often despots, religious fanatics or both, I strongly believe that the current geo-political climate has led to a state of inseperability between religion and politics in our time.
If we are to accept this and continue to acknowledge that Western governments are governments acting on Christian principles (which I don't necessarily condone but I do accept for the time being) then it is up to the Christian communities within those mainly Christian states to promote dialogue and then, by virtue of democratic elections, action, in order to ensure that policy is undertaken according to their Christian principles. Supplying governments with a history for committing war crimes with arms that are in contravention of the Geneva convention and then sitting back and watching while said government drops nearly a hundred thousand cluster bombs on Lebanon after the UN calls for a ceasefire is not in adherence with Christian principles. It is wrong and sitting back and relying on your faith in Jesus and the powers of forgiveness of a God who's been around since a time when people were so stupid they hadn't even invented the wheel yet is not an excuse.

We as Christians are to be Christ like which means
Tell EVERYONE not just atheist about Christ and that he died on the cross for our sins. I don't think you can narrow it down to 3 most important works for if we are Christ like we will
Spread the word about Jesus
Help those in need
Feed the poor
Heal the sick
Visit those in prision
Support other christians who are in the missionary field
And the list can go on and on those are just a few in no particular order

1. To accept other religions.
2. To stop to try and convert others or worse, to kill them, thinking you are in the right and every other religion is in the wrong.
3. To grow up and realise that religions are the dummest invention of a scared mankind and that someday we will be able to live and die without the need for them.
These three works are valid for all religions.

True faith tells us your question is wrong. Christians are justified through grace, (the gift from YHVH) which gift is received through faith. This is why the name of the Savior is "YHVH is my savior" (which is transliterated Yahoshua). My "work" is to believe on Him who was sent. Having said that, let me also say, that we are to live as He lived. As He died my death, I am to live His life. (It is a real challenge, and only possible through His grace) What He did in Himself, He has promised to do through me. All of this is to say that my Worship is expressed in Faith, trust, belief, and also in obedience. Things like worshiping the true Almighty as He said to, on the right days etc.. He came doing good, and so likewise should His followers be doing good.

Jesus told us that we should:
1. look after the Widows and the Orphans
2. Care for the homeless
3. Feed the hungry, clothe the naked..
I think this is to keep Charity in our hearts and to help us overcome our tendency to judge others.. for as we judge so shall we be judged.

Any work that those who are saved do are important. There is no three most important ones. They are all important.
