To be honest I would rather have stretch marks than skin cancer caused by tanning beds. Almost everyone on the planet has stretch marks they are no big deal.

I would never be an advocate of sunbeds for anything. Sure, it may tan up your skin a little more and therefore make white stretchmarks less visible, but you've got to think about what you're doing to your skin in the longterm. Sun soaked skin is dryer skin. Dryer skin wrinkles and cracks easier than hydrated, protected skin. Same thing with acne. Sure, it may clear up blemishes in the short term, but it can also lead to an overproduction of oil, making break outs worse and lead to premature wrinkles, and let's not forget the dreaded "c" word: skin cancer.
More often than not, our skin's problems have to do with its inability to slough off old, dead skin. That's why any sort of exfoliation treatment, whether microdermabrasion, IPL Photofacial or laser, will help your skin get rid of the surface "crud" and stimulate collagen production and future cell growth. This will help fill in any grooves or wrinkles on your skin. There are many treatments out there for stretchmarks which doesn't require temporarily exposing your skin to UV damage. Microderm in conjunction with topical treatments is one way, as are laser treatments.
If your stretchmarks really bother you, I would recommend having a free consultation at a reputable medspa or laser clinic. The websites below can help you locate someone in your area. If nothing else, stay away from the tanning beds! You'll be thanking yourself down the road.

Sunbeds won't help anything!!
I love them and used to go often. never helped anything for me except to get a cat nap in the afternoon. And of course to get a tan.
They aren't the evil some will say, but it's not health food either.

hi hun
i haven't tried tanning however...
i used strech away, it helpd a little bit on my hips and thighs (inner and outer) but not heaps. it helped mostly on my inside upper arms...i guess those marks weren't as deep as hips and thighs. mine were old tho (white marks) perhaps if i had used the cream earlier (red) they might have worked better.
